Focused aromas of boysenberry, light violet and lavender show on the nose of this bottling. The palate snaps with boysenberry, black-plum and tart elderberry flavors, with a hint of those purple flowers, set atop very strong acidity.

We came across this syrah by chance when speaking with our colleague Carol.  She sent me a sample, I tasted it and was sold!  This wine is a bit of an oddball... It was made by Bob Lindquist, formerly of Qupe, but bottled under a different label.  Regardless, it is a well balanced wine that was aged in 100% neutral French oak.  There is smoke and white pepper that compliment the plummy fruit component.  This is the perfect burger wine! Ground beef, ground turkey, Impossible, Beyond Meat or portobello this wine is a match. Chill for 30 minutes for a delicious Summer wine.
